Where We Work

Northern Utah is where we live and work

We're based in Ogden and we run crews up and down the Wasatch Front every day. Our trucks know the bench lots, the clay soil, the canyon wind patterns, and the spring runoff timing in this region. That local knowledge shows up in every install we do.

The USDA hardiness zones in Northern Utah range from 6a to 7a depending on elevation. Bench properties sit colder, valley homes warmer. We design for the zone you're actually in, not a generic guess.

Other Northern Utah cities we serve

We also work in Roy, Clearfield, Riverdale, Plain City, North Ogden, Pleasant View, Harrisville, Farmington, Kaysville, Syracuse, West Point, Centerville, Brigham City, and Perry. If you're between Salt Lake City and the Idaho line on the Wasatch Front, give us a call. We will tell you if we can be there.

Why local matters

Northern Utah soils are mostly alkaline (pH 7.5 to 8.1). Wasatch Front bench properties sit on sandy loam. Valley homes west of I-15 sit on clay loam. The watering schedule, plant choice, and grading for each property reflect that. A crew from out of state will get it wrong. We won't.

Statewide water and drought context

Utah is the second-driest state in the country. In April 2025, Governor Cox declared a drought emergency in 17 counties. Reservoirs ended that spring at 84% of capacity, per the Utah Division of Water Resources. Every yard we design factors that in.

"Every drop saved helps us secure Utah's water future." That has been the standing message from the Division of Water Resources for the past two years, and it shapes how we design. Smart controllers. Drip on beds. Right-sized turf. Plants that fit the climate.

Frequently asked questions

Do you charge a travel fee to outlying cities?

Not for our regular service area. For acreage jobs farther out, we will quote travel up front if it applies.

How fast can you get to my property?

Estimates within a week most weeks. Spring is our busiest season, so book early if you need work done before Memorial Day.

Do you handle HOA-required landscaping in new subdivisions?

Yes. We work with HOA spec sheets across Davis and Weber counties and provide written proposals you can submit to your architectural committee.

Do you only do residential?

We do commercial properties as well. Office park curbing, HOA common areas, multi-family sod and irrigation, and small commercial xeriscape conversions.

Are you licensed and insured in Utah?

Yes. We carry general liability and workers comp, and we pull permits where they are required.
